'Chelmsford City's New Jazz Venue'
At the multi award winning 'Woolpack' Chelmsford, Essex, thanks to the new licensees William & Donna Turner.
The evening has the classic jazz club feel with informal intimate candlelit seating and features top local musicians such as Reg Webb, vocalists and visiting jazz artists such as Brit Award Winner Simon Spillett & ex Humphrey Lyttleton pianist Ted Beament. The club will cover all styles from 'Swing' to 'Modern' including jazz funk and latin feels.

Say's promoter Graeme Culham
Graeme has promoted jazz in Essex for over twenty five years in all forms from creating venues for musicians to play and fronting two big bands made up from essex musicians. Graeme along with Peter Morris was also responsible for creating the 'Southend Jazz Festival'. As a professional drummer he has worked and recorded with who's who of the jazz world. He is featured in the 'History Of Jazz In Essex Project' which was on display in Chelmsford library for six weeks and is now touring the UK.
The jazz club is held on the first Sunday of the month.
Admission is free and starts 8.30pm.
Seating is not reservable.
A choice of food is available till 9.00pm.
